"Hide The Nook"
The client had seen some previous work on our Facebook page and called us giving us the challenge of transforming the living room, which we couldn't wait to get started on.
What Was Requested
The customer wanted to update the living room and give it a modern feel to it. The living room had a inglenook fire place that made it look old fashioned and to put a tv above it wouldn't look right so we suggested to fill in the fre place with a stud wall keep the main beam support across and put the tv in there. They also wanted a cinema room feel to it so we decided to put a full Dolby 5.1 surround system in which rocked the place. Speakers to be discreet in wall and ceiling.
First fix: installtion of all cat, coax, speaker and electrical cables to positions. Ceiling taken down and walls choppped and chased. Clean and tidy house.
Followed by carpenter installting all timber frame for fire place recess tv, then plasterer.
Second fix: installation of av and electrical equipment, test demo of equipment
What We Achieved
We can gladly say customer was delighted with finish, all cables hidden and no av sources on show in living room. The job all came together nicely and was turned round in two weeks from start to finish.
Chuffed to bit with our new lounge leee and the team did great job.
